Our Company is seeking to recruit a Wireline Product & Service Delivery Manager (PSDM) to be based in San Fernando, Trinidad. This is a critical operational leadership role intended for an individual with deep technical mastery, extensive field exposure, and proven authority over complex, high-risk wireline operations. The ideal candidate should be an established wireline leader capable of independently approving work, managing operational risk, and leading large, technically diverse teams in deepwater, offshore, and land environments.

Mission

The Wireline PSD Manager has direct accountability for QHSE performance, service quality, operational execution, and workforce readiness. The role requires visible field leadership, strong technical authority, and consistent, risk-based decision-making under safety-critical and commercially sensitive conditions.

The PSD Manager drives safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery; competency development and certification governance; systematic application of standard work and risk management; continuous improvement in operational and service quality performance; and customer satisfaction and contract value realization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobilize offshore and directly participate in wireline operations when operational needs require.
  • Design, review, challenge, and approve complex wireline job programs, including deepwater, high-risk, and non-routine operations.
  • Perform, consolidate, and critically assess JRAs.
  • Approve Job Risk Assessments based on job risk level and Conformance Assessment score.
  • Approve PRAs based on PRA index, phase, and operational exposure.
  • Lead and conduct pre-job and post-job briefs for every job, ensuring risks and controls are clearly understood.
  • Own the full incident lifecycle including escalation, response, investigation leadership, validation of findings, and close-out.
  • Exercise stop-work authority when required and enforce QHSE standards and risk controls.
  • Oversee equipment verification, certification, inspection, and maintenance readiness.
  • Drive demand planning for equipment, critical spares, and tool configurations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce cycle time, and increase productivity.
  • Provide visible field leadership, technical coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Govern competency progression, certification, and readiness of field personnel.
  • Execute Employee Management Plans and performance evaluations.
  • Act as contract owner for wireline service delivery and contract value assurance.
  • Manage client interfaces and ensure service quality acceptance.
  • Approve final job deliverables and invoice-supporting documentation.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering (strongly preferred due to the electrical, powered-system, and instrumentation-intensive nature of wireline operations).
  • Minimum 12 years oil and gas industry experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of direct wireline field experience in offshore and/or land operations, gained prior to or alongside leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior operations leadership role with direct accountability for QHSE, job approval, and service delivery outcomes.

  • Experience managing a formal wireline competency assurance system

  • Experience delivering operations from a regional deepwater execution hub supporting multi-country deployment.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous offshore and land operations.

Open Hole Logging

  • High operational knowledge of advanced petrophysical evaluation, borehole imaging, formation pressure, sampling, and testing workflows.
  • Independent authority to approve complex open hole logging programs under challenging well conditions as well as Cased Hole and Powered Intervention.
  • Advanced competency in cased hole and powered wireline intervention, including production and integrity interventions, tractored and extended-reach operations, and complex powered toolstrings.

High-Tension and Capstan Operations

  • Mandatory experience with high-tension and Capstan-type wireline operations or equivalent complex conveyance environments.
  • Ability to assess tension limits, mechanical risk, and contingency scenarios.

  • Authority to approve explosive-related risk assessments and Management of Change.

  • Advanced experience in radiation safety for wireline operations, including radioactive source handling, transport, storage, audits, and incident response.
  • Experience acting as operational authority for radiation-related risk at field and base level.

Lithium and Powered Systems

  • Proven experience with lithium-based and powered downhole wireline systems.
  • Ability to assess lithium battery hazards, failure modes, and operational safeguards.
  • Experience approving powered intervention systems in deepwater and extended-reach environments.
